Tax Credit Information
This tax credit is available to employers for hiring individuals from certain target groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment. This includes people with disabilities and veterans. The maximum tax credit ranges from $1,200 to $9,600, depending on the employee hired and the length of employment.

What is Supported Employment?
Support is provided to assist your employee to work towards gaining independence on the job.

Coaching supports depend on the employee and the employer, but may include:

Communication is key. When in doubt, please talk with your employee and job coach about any questions, comments, or concerns. Job coaching is flexible, and the ultimate goal is to support you, your team, and your employee, if a need should arise.
